Sydney Ramseyer
CPT- Lead Canine Trainer
Sydney loves spending time with her dog Moose, pictured above, and teaching him to be a well mannered boy.
Sydney is a balanced scale trainer which means she uses some sort of corrections, but of course always uses praise, encouragement and treats. She says, "the best part of training is watching the owners relationship change with their dog during the lessons in a good way!"
Sydney is also a CGC evaluator, and teaches Agility classes as well. She is ready to bring more fun and additional opportunities to ZPS!
Sydney has been married for seven years to her high school sweetheart, Kevin. Together they have one son, Weston. In her free time she loves riding horses and spending time with family!
Sydney graduated from National K-9 School for Dog Trainers, located in Columbus, Ohio in 2015. She began working at a vet clinic in 2014 as a vet assistant. After she graduated dog training school in 2015, Sydney started working at a boarding and training facility, as a kennel attendant/trainer. In 2017, she soon became a Head Dog Trainer and begun running their training department. In 2019, Sydney decided to start her own business called The Golden Dog, which had been open for five years before she made the decision to become part of our ZPS team! In 2023, while owning her well known business, Sydney won 1st place in the Fort Wayne Readers Choice Awards for Best Dog Trainer.
