It is our top priority at Zach's for each pet to obtain optimal care and comfort while staying in our facility. With this being said, each pet will be provided with bedding to lie on, for a more comfortable stay. Our facility is also climate controlled to aid in managing the perfect temperature for your pet. At Zach's Pet Services, we provide all clients with bowls for both food and water. We understand the importance of consistent hydration; thus, your pet will be provided with a water bowl at all times. We do ask that you provide your pet's food during his or her stay. By providing your pet's own food, it allows he or she to be more comfortable and help prevent upset stomachs with a change in diet; however, we do provide the option to use our in-house food (Purina One Lamb and Rice) during your pet's stay. If your pet will be in Zach's care for longer than seven consecutive days, Zach's offers a complementary bath so your pet leaves feeling refreshed after his or her vacation. Lastly, our facility is equipped with Aerapy; a system that cleans our air through the use of UV lights. Aerapy aids in lowering the chances of airborne illness to transfer to pets. Although total illness prevention is not guaranteed, it is our duty to pets and owners to provide the best care possible.

Every pet that enters our facility is treated as if he or she is one of our very own. Each pet is guaranteed four, ten-minute potty breaks with our regular boarding price. As pet owners ourselves, we understand the importance of a consistent schedule. With this being said, your pet will be given his or her own personal time to stretch his or her legs and use the facilities while in our care.

While staying at Zach's, we provide a variety of social and non-social activities that cater to each pet's personality. At Zach's, we provide a peaceful 20 minute in-hand walk with one of our attendants, social play time with other pets of the same size and demeanor and individualized play time with one of our attendants. Each activity will be designed specifically for your pet. We feel that it is our goal for your furry family member to enjoy his or her time away from you.

During your pet's stay we ask that he or she is current on all vaccinations. The vaccines that we require are:

• Dog Vaccinations (Bordetella, DHLPPC, Rabies)

• Cat Vaccinations (Rabies, FVRCP+L)

These vaccines should be administered at least a week before your pet's stay with us. We do ask that you keep up-to-date with these vaccinations, to prevent any conflicts during scheduling. We will also need a copy of your pet's vaccination records to keep on file. Zach's staff does regular vaccination inspections on pets coming into our care to ensure pets are up to date; however, it is the owners responsibility to maintain these vaccinations. Zach's will not allow any pets into our facility that are not up-to-date on vaccinations at least a week before arrival. This policy is in place to protect each pet staying with us, and our staff members.

Reservation Billing Information

If you miss or cancel (less than a 24 hour notice) your appointment or reservation, you will be sent a payment link for a fee of $25. This will need to be paid before any other reservation or appointment is scheduled.

Zach’s Pet Services will bill you for the duration of your pet(s) scheduled reservation , regardless of changes to drop-off or pick-up dates, or any adjustments to the scheduled reservation, unless given at least a 24-hour notice. This 24 hour notice is made void during the following holidays/breaks:

• Spring Break

• Memorial Day

• 4th of July

• Labor Day

• Fall Break

• Thanksgiving Break

• Christmas/ New Years Break

During the above holidays/ breaks customers will be billed for the entirety of their scheduled stay.

Billing is as follows, you will be billed for the day your pet(s) is dropped off for any boarding reservation, regardless of the time of drop off. If your pet(s) is picked up during our morning hours of 7-11 AM, you will not charged for that day, but if your pet(s) is picked up during our afternoon hours of 3-6 PM, you will be charged for that day. The only day that is not subject to this rule are Sundays, which customers are automatically charged for this day.

Dog Boarding

At Zach's Pet Services, each canine has the opportunity to be housed in a Standard Kennel (4'x4' and 4'x6'), Deluxe Kennel (4'x6') with a 4'x12' outdoor covered run or an 8'x6' Luxury Kennel Suite with a personal yard.

Each Standard Kennel will be furnished with bedding and food and water dishes for your pet's comfort. Our Standard Kennels will allow your pet(s) to use our play yards for bathroom purposes.

Each Deluxe Kennel will be furnished with bedding, food and water dishes, heated flooring and access to a 4'x12' concrete covered run. Each outdoor run is opened and closed manually by one of our staff members four times a day for at least 20 minutes each time.

Each Luxury Kennel Suite will be furnished with a luxury dog couch, food and water dishes, heated floors and a personal 6'x36' dog yard. A yard play session is included in the daily price of our Luxury Kennel Suites. Our suite room is also furnished with two televisions for your pet(s) viewing.

For play time, your dog will have access to our  fenced-in yards. During this time, your pet will have the ability to socialize with other pets that have his or her similar size and demeanor. Play time consists of a 30 minute monitored session with other compatible pets. Pets that do not socialize well with others will be placed in play time with staff members only, thus allowing him or her equal opportunity to play while staying at Zach's Pet Services. 

In-hand walks are also offered at Zach's Pet Services. Each walk consists of a 20 minute leashed walk around our rural property. Allowing each dog one-on-one attention with his or her kennel attendant. 

Cat Boarding

During your cat’s stay at Zach’s Pet Services, he or she will be housed in our cat room. This room is an enclosed area away from the other pets in our care. Each cat will be kept in one of our cat condos. Our condos can house up to two cats each. Each condo is furnished with a perch for them to lie on, a bed, litter box, food, and water. We ask that food be provided for the duration of your cats stay.
